A Cure For AIDS

"The Berlin Patient" is what they are calling the first person in history who has been cured of HIV.  This patient had a stem cell transplant in 2007.  The transplant was actually a treatment for Timothy Ray Brown's lukemia.  At the time of the treatment he was HIV-positive, and doctors believe now that he is HIV-free.  This is a huge medical breakthrough.
